Hinsdale South High School Foundation

The Foundation was established on June 2, 1998.

Mission
The mission of the Hinsdale South High School Foundation is to provide for the enrichment and enhancement of educational programs and opportunities through the establishment of partnerships with individuals, alumni, community organizations and corporate sponsors dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in education.

Meetings
The Foundation currently meets the 2nd Thursday of each month in the Hinsdale South Library at 7:00 pm.

New members are always welcome!

Program Initiatives

• Provide opportunities for enhanced student learning
• Support innovative staff development
• Establish and cultivate relationships with Hinsdale South Alumni
• Create an educational endowment

The Hinsdale South Foundation  sponsored our second annual Battle of the Bands on Thursday, February 2, 2012!  Six bands competed and they all sounded great!  We had a sell out crowd cheering on all of the bands.

The winning band was Renegade (pictured below).  Band members are: Brandon Marsh, Austin Allen, Baron Downing, Ricky Monegan, Ajani Marsh, and Joe Roveri.

The Hinsdale South High School Foundation is pleased to announce the  induction of two candidates into the Hinsdale South High School Hall of Fame.  The 2011 inductees are Captain Scott Corwin (Class of 1995, Deceased) and Mr. Ross Rice (Class of 1974).  The HS Foundation Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony took place at an all-school assembly during 2nd period on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Hinsdale South High School.

On September 9, 2011 the Hinsdale South Foundation brought Second City to the Hinsdale South auditorium.  The show earned loud applause and high praise from audience members for its performance.
